Custom Millwork and Finish Carpentry in Flagstaff, Arizona
Custom millwork and finish carpentry for Flagstaff homes, contractors, and custom home builders.
We work with homeowners, contractors, and custom home builders.
How we work in Flagstaff
We build custom millwork for Flagstaff projects: solid-wood mantels, decorative ceiling beams, heavy-duty floating shelves, mudroom boot benches, trim and moulding, and full built-ins. Components are shop-fabricated and fitted on site, and Flagstaff installs are scheduled as focused visits rather than daily trips so the work moves in continuous blocks.
Six services, one crew, one written quote.
Custom built-in cabinets, bookcases, and window seats scribed to your walls and ceiling.
Built-ins around a fireplace, with cabinets, open shelving, and a media wall built as one scope.
Custom fireplace mantels milled from full-thickness slabs or solid stock, sized to your firebox.
Box beams and solid-timber beams sized to your ceiling and mounted to framing.
Solid-wood shelves whose load capacity depends on blocking, not the wall surface.
Custom bookshelves and full library walls, sized to the books and scribed to the room.
Residential finish carpentry: interior trim, doors, casing, base, and the details that get judged up close.
Crown, casing, baseboard, coffered ceilings, and wainscot, mitered and coped on site.
Built-in benches, hooks, and cubbies sized to your alcove or wall.
The umbrella scope: field measurement, milling, finishing, and installation of custom architectural woodwork.
Flagstaff project questions
Yes. We're licensed in Arizona under ROC #252737 as a B-3 General Remodeling and Repair Contractor, active since 2009, and we're bonded and insured.
Tell us the room type and room size, the approximate wall dimensions, the materials and finish you want, and what the installation involves. We review that scope and follow up with a written quote that defines the project scope, selections, and price.
Most standard projects are completed within approximately 3 to 6 weeks after the required deposit has been paid. Larger or highly customized projects may require approximately 8 to 10 weeks after the required deposit has been paid. Timing may vary based on project complexity, material availability, approvals, production requirements, customer changes, and site readiness.
Anything that isn't a stock item is a one off custom or special order. Custom, one off, and special order materials require a 100% material deposit before materials are ordered or production begins. The material deposit is nonrefundable once materials have been ordered or production has begun. Stock item orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit.
Our products can be painted, stained, clear coated, or otherwise finished according to the approved project scope. When we're installing the millwork, finishing services can be included as part of the project. Painting can also be included for unfinished millwork supplied as part of the approved project.
Field measurement and installation for Flagstaff are scheduled as dedicated visits rather than repeated daily trips, so the work moves in continuous blocks once your crew's site is ready.
We can put together an initial range from room type, room size, wall dimensions, materials, and photos, but the field measurement still happens before a written proposal is finalized, since built conditions can shift the final scope.
Framing, blocking, and substrate in place where the millwork anchors Drywall complete in the install area unless the scope says otherwise Flooring status confirmed, since it sets base and casing heights Electrical and plumbing rough-ins complete behind the work Clear access to the room and a path to move long material Power on site Furniture and personal belongings moved out of the work area
