Send plans and elevations and we'll price the millwork scope against them. Field verification confirms the numbers before fabrication starts.
We take field measurements on site and record existing conditions, including stud locations, blocking, substrate, and whether walls and floors are square and level, so the shop builds to what's actually there.
Shop drawings go out for review so dimensions, reveals, profiles, and details are agreed before anything is cut. Material and finish approvals happen at the same stage.
Most standard projects are completed within approximately 3 to 6 weeks after the required deposit has been paid. Larger or highly customized projects may require approximately 8 to 10 weeks after the required deposit has been paid. Timing may vary based on project complexity, material availability, approvals, production requirements, customer changes, and site readiness.
We coordinate sequencing with framing, electrical, flooring, and paint so the millwork lands at the right point in the schedule, not ahead of or behind the trades it depends on.
Changes in scope, materials, or selections after the proposal is approved are handled as a change order before we proceed.
Installation is scheduled against site readiness and the other trades on site, with anchoring into framing or blocking, scribing to existing conditions, and field-fitting where a room isn't square.
We walk the completed work, log anything outstanding, make final adjustments, and close the scope out.
- -Framing, blocking, and substrate in place where the millwork anchors
- -Drywall complete in the install area unless the scope says otherwise
- -Flooring status confirmed, since it sets base and casing heights
- -Electrical and plumbing rough-ins complete behind the work
- -Clear access to the room and a path to move long material
- -Power on site
- -Furniture and personal belongings moved out of the work area
- -A written proposal defining scope, selections, and price
- -Shop drawings for review and approval where the project calls for them
- -A field verification report on existing conditions
- -A defined lead time once the deposit and approvals are in
- -Installed, field-fit millwork with a punch list walkthrough at closeout
Inclusions are stated in each written proposal, because the scope varies by project. A typical proposal covers field measurement, materials, shop fabrication, finishing to an approved sample, delivery, installation, and final adjustments.
Anything not listed in the proposal isn't included. Exclusions are defined per project in the written proposal rather than assumed from this website.
Certificates of insurance and warranty terms are provided with the proposal rather than stated here.
