That comes down to scribing: fitting the case to the wall's actual plane, not the plane it should be on. We build cases in the shop from shop drawings you approve, then scribe and fit them on site to the walls, floor, and ceiling as they actually exist.

These are shop samples photographed under shop lighting. We list a wood species only when the original sample board says so, and we don't guess it from the photo. The same finish reads differently on a different species, in different light, and at a different sheen, so a physical sample is always the deciding reference.

- Adjustable shelving load capacity depends on the shelf material and pin spacing, and is sized to the stated use, books versus display items, before fabrication.
- Out-of-square walls and out-of-level floors are the norm in finished houses, and the case design allows for scribe and filler strips to absorb that variation.

- Field measurement and existing-conditions documentation happen before shop drawings are finalized.
- Case sections are anchored into confirmed stud locations or blocking, not into drywall alone.
- Flooring and wall finishes should be complete in the install area before delivery.
